Send a Kid to Camp!

The Cause

Camp Maskepetoon is committed to fostering inclusivity and believes that ALL kids deserve to experience Camp. Each summer, we welcome around 500 youth to our lakefront property where they have the opportunity to challenge themselves, grow their leadership skills, forge new friendships, and build an intentional community. We affirm the identities of all campers, regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, or ability.

We believe that financial circumstances should not be a barrier to camping, and therefore we seek financial support in order to provide sponsorships for deserving children. Currently, Camp Maskepetoon sets aside a portion of revenue each year in order to provide financial support for campers in need. As we continue to grow our program, we are aware that the demand for help continues to increase. We are looking to the Field Law Community Fund to help us offer more camperships to deserving children.

Who Will it Benefit?

This year we hope to offer financial support to 20 campers.

We know that Camp makes a difference in the lives of the young people we serve. More than just a fun, recreational experience, Camp is the only place, the only week of the year, where many of our campers feel entirely safe, secure, and at home. Our campers know that Maskepetoon is a place where they are free to be themselves and where they will be celebrated for their many unique gifts. It is always amazing to see how much a child can grow in a week or a summer when they are receiving the support and encouragement that they need. Many of our campers return year after year, moving from camper to volunteer to staff member, ultimately giving back the same experience that they themselves received.
