The garden would provide the initial participants with this learning opportunity as well as future participants and provide healthy, affordable food for our chronically homeless clients. It is our hope that as Edmonton develops its green spaces and enhances and supports the idea of growing food in our urban areas and food sustainability, and that the by growing their own food people that were previously homeless will have learned practical and transferable skills.
