The Cause

I was born in Jamaica where money was scarce and it was hard for us financially to have a decent living. After moving to Canada as a teenager and getting three jobs, I managed the budget monthly for my family's expenses while paying my way through university. After completing university, I used my experiences and education to educate children and youth on basic financial skills.

Who Will it Benefit?

It will benefit the children and youth because financial literacy is not being taught in our school system to educate our children to make wise financial decisions in their daily lives such as monetary responsibility and investing so they do not acquire debt and damage their credit score at an early age.
