RECCE Program
The Cause
The RECCE program is an optional self-funded training for Army Cadets. The kids selected for the program learn patrolling, search and rescue, field craft, and navigation. As well, the children learn organizational skills, physical fitness, environmental stewardship, problem solving, planning and leadership skills. This training is intense and is run over 16 weekends.
Who Will it Benefit?
Army cadets is open to everyone between the ages of 11 and 19. This optional program will be available to all Army cadets that obtain a silver star level. The leadership skills that the children learn will benefit the entire community. The children that have gone through the program have shown increase in confidence levels as well.
