Elevated Garden Boxes For Seniors

For over a decade, the Ranchlands Community Garden in northwest Calgary has provided an opportunity for area residents to practice their gardening skills, benefit from getting to know other members of the community, and enjoy the fruits of their labour. Some of the gardeners are seniors who find it a challenge to work at ground level.

Who Will it Benefit?

The garden is open all community residents who apply on time and adhere to garden regulations (weeding, helping with work days, etc.) Particularly seniors will benefit from more user friendly elevated garden boxes.
