Enactus NAIT Re-Colour

The Cause

We run a new project called Re-Colour, the concept is we partner with restaurants and school to collect their used/unused crayons. At the moment, we are partnered with Montana's and Boston Pizza, and 3 schools. We sort the crayons into each colour category, and we are in the process of finding the most environmentally friendly way to melt and remold them into brand new crayons. We are gathering more volunteers weekly and still only in the process of collecting them due to funds.

Who Will it Benefit?

This project will benefit both the environment and each person that we make it known to. Since everyone has used crayons and do not think much about it when they throw them away. It actually causes much harm to the environment since they are made out of petroleum.
