Para Athlete Development Fund

The Cause

We're committed to promoting all athletes, from grassroots to high performance, with a specific focus on our Para Athlete community for this grant. Our goal is to empower, uplift, and provide financial support to this often-overlooked group. The recent Paralympics in Paris showcased these athletes competing at the highest level, and we want to ensure they have access to the resources needed to reach their aspirations. At the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta, we offer state-of-the-art facilities, expert practitioners, and physicians and we want their access to be hurdle free. We need change-makers like you to help eliminate the financial barriers that may prevent these athletes from achieving their dreams of standing on the podium.

Who Will it Benefit?

At our facility -
Our hope is to award $20,000 of the $30,000 to our current athletes. With the remainder being rolled into an opportunity fund for future ventures. Whether that is a community event to create awareness for these athletes or support an athlete or a team trying to reach a dream. With this financial contribution we hope to shed more light on the need for equal opportunity for ALL ATHLETES.
