Dunmore Equine Facilitated Wellness
The Dunmore Equestrian Society was formed in 2014 to create a safe inclusive environment to celebrate our western heritage and build on our future. We provide opportunities for recreation, personal development and rehabilitation for all ages through equine related activities; promoting a healthy active lifestyle and community spirit that preserves culture and heritage. We are aware of the benefits that horses provide to people and want to share that with community members who would not otherwise have the ability to access to this type of programming.
These are 8 week programs where participants partner with horses and a registered social worker to develop personal skills and relationships (communication, teamwork, parenting, confidence, boundaries etc.)
Who Will it Benefit?
