First Aid kits for all Search and Rescue volunteers in Alberta and NWT

The Cause

To provide an individual first aid kit to as many Ground Search and Rescue volunteers in Alberta and the NWT as possible.

Who Will it Benefit?

Most Search and Rescue organizations are volunteer-based on shoestring budgets. As such, purchase of first aid equipment for these individuals and their working animals to assist law enforcement and other agencies in search and rescue missions tends to be limited. If they come upon an injured individual or group, a high-quality portable first aid kit can come in handy for use to care for the injury(ies) at the point of injury. If the volunteer is injured during their search/rescue activities, they will benefit with the potential for self-aid or buddy-aid.
