Princesses & Superhero Family Gala

The Cause

This is the 20th anniversary of Make-A-Wish Southern Alberta and in celebration of this milestone we are creating a new and exciting event, Princesses and Superheroes Family Gala. This fun event will allow families to dress up as princesses and superheroes and have an entertaining evening while supporting families dealing with life-threatening medical conditions. The evening will involve a dinner, dinner theatre, princess and superhero experiences, fun in the Creative Kids Museum and much more entertainment. This will be a fundraising event for Make-A-Wish Southern Alberta and it is our hope that it will be a must-attend event in the community this year and beyond. The funds raised at this community event will enable us to grant more wishes to children living in Southern Alberta. Even though the economy has taken a downturn, children and their families are still dealing with life-threatening medical conditions. The need for wishes continues and this event is a unique way for families to help other families in our community. In addition to raising much needed funds and raising awareness for Make-A-Wish Southern Alberta, Princesses and Superheroes will also help children understand the role they can play in our community.

Who Will it Benefit?

Children (ages 3-17) with life-threatening medical conditions and their families will be directly impacted by the Princesses and Superheroes event. Funds raised at Princesses and Superheroes will help Make-A-Wish Southern Alberta to grant more wishes to deserving families and will provide them with hope, strength and joy.
