SHINE Collective, a dynamic initiative by the Youth Singers of Calgary (YSC), is all about nurturing the incredible potential of our youth. We go beyond singing and dancing, instilling the skills, confidence, and values young individuals need to excel in any path they choose.

Community Engagement in 2024:

In 2024, SHINE Collective has an exciting lineup of "Sunny Day" community performances, including appearances at the 4th Street Lilac Festival, Inglewood Sunfest, Pride, Marda Gras, and YSC main stage performances at the Jubilee Auditorium. These events provide opportunities for our youth to showcase their talents, grow as performers, and build the skills they need to succeed in life.

For almost 40 years, Youth Singers of Calgary has impacted the lives of thousands of young people, their families and the community at large. YSC is Calgary’s most comprehensive performing arts training and music education program. We give youth opportunities to express themselves on stage through the performing arts – singing, dancing and acting. Our students are continuously challenged and through teamwork, diligence, competition and a commitment to excellence they acquire life skills that prepare them for their roles as exemplary citizens and leaders.
