The Cause

Smile Dental Clinic
All clients seen on the DHB and referred for additional basic dental treatment are eligible to attend a SDC. SDCs are conducted in volunteer dental offices, or on the DHB, and provide care at no cost, to clients screened and referred from another DHB program.

Who Will it Benefit?

$10,000 which is the estimated budget to conduct twenty evening SMILE clinics where an estimated 140-180 children/youth receive basic dental care at no charge, rendering approx. $66,140 to $94,500 in treatment.
