The Cause

The Don Berner Big Band plays a FREE afternoon concert in city hall in April, 2025. This allows people who couldn't normally afford a ticket as part of our regular season to attend as well as performing the music of cartoons, something that allows for more of a point of access to youth who may not otherwise engage in cultural institutions.

Who Will it Benefit?

The musicians and production crew will see the primary financial benefit. About 300 audience members will benefit in less tangible ways. The whole city benefits from the existence of experiences like this. The downtown core will benefit from economic spin off of shoppers and diners. Audience members who normally wouldn't be able to attend these events due to financial constraints will be the primary beneficiaries of enjoyment.
